in this post I will explain how to apply Termidor SC termicide around your house through a cement foundation.
supplies needed:
- rotor hammer drill
- Termidor SC
- 2- 5 gallon buckets
- funnel
- 1 quart measuring container
- cement patch
- cement trowel
step 1:
- Drill holes for Termidor Application around home, holes should be no more than 12 inches apart and should be drilled through cement into soil below.
Step 2:
-Mix Termidor SC with water, for this you will want to mix .8fl Oz of Termidor to 1 Gallon of water. I mixed 4 gallons worth at a time. you will want to mark your 5 gallon bucket for the appropriate gallons you will mix to.
Step 3:
- Pour Termidor mix into holes.
you should pour about 1 quart of solution into each hole previously drilled. some holes will take longer to absorb the mixture, some soils are more compact then others. what I found helps is to make sure you went as deep as possible into the dirt with the drill bit.
Step 4:
- Patch holes with cement patch.
mix some cement patch with water to the correct consistency in a 5 gallon buckets and patch holes with cement trowel.
